This is Part 8 of 9 Ways to Improve Your Golf on the Golf Course.
HOW MUCH DO YOU PRACTICE?
This entirely depends on you.
You only get out of your game what you put into it.
So if you practice your game quite frequently then you should know how your swing performs out on the golf course, not to mention your putting, your short game as mentioned in previous posts. Are you using these strengths that you are aware of?
Now if you are not practicing much then you have to understand that golf is a game of repetition! It is a repetitive movement for the muscles. So if you are out on the course and you are not performing the way you would like….then it may be time to think about practicing some more.
I know of many golfers who want to perform out on the course but don’t want to practice. Then if that is you, that’s cool, but just remember that your golf will be inconsistent and you will have to accept that. Of course utilize all the information I have given you on 9 Ways to Improve Your Golf Series and get to know your strengths and play to them as much as you can.
I just want you to be aware that you need to have a good basic fundamentals, if you can have good fundamentals, then it will greatly increase your chance of scoring better during your round.
However, if you do practice then the best way to practice is to simulate the way you actually play on the golf course.
The more you can ingrain your pre-shot thinking , your planning and clearing your mind so that you can play your best shot on the practice range, the better player you will be on the golf course.
