    Hi Tiffany,

I just LOVE to get your tips each week. I am a fairly new golfer but over the time I have watched and practiced your tips I have gone from a 45 to 41 handicap.

I live on Peregian Springs Golf Course on the Sunshine Coast in Qld and after sharing your website with some friends I now have a group of 20 ladies who each week play 9 holes of social golf together.

We discuss your tips – our groups is to encourage and support those ladies just starting out.

Thanks heaps for the weekly videos, I think my best improvement is in the bunkers. I now feel OK about hitting out after I practiced the drill of the sand on the clubface.
    My putting is also improving.

Looking forward to the next tip.
    Patsy Martin.

Hi Patsy, wow how good is that. Your handicap is coming down just from the tips. I think it is fantastic that you have formed a good solid group of ladies who play golf together. I believe all ladies need support, encouragement & guidance when starting out in golf. The biggest thing I think that ladies have to make sure that they do is to make sure they learn to play golf the right way, with the right habits, take lessons and practice. Thanks Patsy for the feedback. I will have to look at coming up your way and running a day session with your ladies. Kind regards Tiffany πŸ™‚

I have enjoyed all the tips and found them very helpful, especially when going through my routine…I can hear you in my head reminding me what I need to do, especially wrist flick. Doesn’t always work but there is definitely an improvement.

    • Tiffany Mika April 24, 2013 at 8:22 am #

Hi Baiba, that is great that you have found all the tips helpful as that was always my goal. And yes your famous wrist flick…. I am sure it is slowly being put to rest. Keep at it Baiba, it’s great to see you out on the course with Lynne, Nora & Pauline continuing to enjoy your games. Tiff πŸ™‚

    Hi Tiffany
I only discovered your tips a month or two ago but look forward to seeing every new video.
The bunker tips have been the best for me as I have always struggled there. I even found myself thinking about the towel drill when I was in a bunker last weekend and I got out in one stroke quite well.
My putting has also improved but that is as much psychological for me lol. Keep up the great work Tiffany.
    Thanks

    • Tiffany Mika April 24, 2013 at 8:26 am #

Hi Karen, it seems the bunker tips have been the ones everyone has really enjoyed. Bunkers are challenging if you don’t know what to do. My goal here was to ensure that golfers were made aware of some simple tips to help their bunker technique. So welcome to The Lady Golf Teacher Community Karen, looking forward to hearing about more successes from you. Tiff πŸ™‚

  4. Christine king April 23, 2013 at 9:54 pm #

Have found bunker and chipping tips excellent. My bunker shots are much better. I have only been following you since Feb.

    • Tiffany Mika April 24, 2013 at 8:29 am #

Hi Christine, That is fantastic that you have enjoyed the bunker and chipping tips, thank you. Bunkers are the stroke that players tend to struggle with and that need not be the case if you know what to do. Welcome to The Lady Golf Teacher Community too Christine. Continue to update me with your progress. Kind regards Tiff πŸ™‚

  5. Kay April 23, 2013 at 11:00 pm #

    Hi Tiffany,
thanks for your tips each week. I really enjoy hearing them and putting them into practise.
Love the umbrella drill which has greatly improved my short game.
I also loved the putting drills and am practising these each day inside.
My handicap has dropped from 23 to 20 and I have set myself a goal to reach 18.
Am going to do more bunker practise now.
    Keep the videos coming!
    Thanks Tiffany

    • Tiffany Mika April 24, 2013 at 8:32 am #

Hi Kay. How great is that taking 3 shots off your handicap. Well done to you. The next goal of 18 handicap is a great one to set. You know if you really work hard on your short game your handicap will drop. That’s where the shots come down, with an accurate short game. Looking forward to hearing how your bunker practice goes. Keep me updated. Kind regards Tiffany πŸ™‚

  6. Maz April 24, 2013 at 6:23 pm #

Thanks so much Tiffany for the putting drills. I have improved my putting dramatically. It was really holding me back. I now feel confident when I stand over the ball on the green. I am also working on the bunker drill. I am telling all my friends about your fabulous tips.
    Keep them coming.
    Thanks again.

    • Tiffany Mika April 26, 2013 at 2:26 pm #

Hi Maz, congratulations to you. Yes even though putting is a simple stroke it still has it’s challenges. Fantastic that you are more confident on the green that what I love to hear. The bunker drill will take some time but keep working at it. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Tiff πŸ™‚

  7. Ari April 25, 2013 at 8:00 pm #

Hi Tiffany.. I am also a member of Patsy Martins group and I can happily say that your tips work very well for me. Probably the best so far has been: keeping your left arm straight when chipping – the improvement has been amazing – for me !! Consistency is an area with which I still struggle.. We would love to see you here at the Sunshine Coast. I love the tips because they’re short and sweet.. not too much to stress over ; )

    • Tiffany Mika April 26, 2013 at 2:29 pm #

Hi Ari, does your group have a name? You should come up with a cool name for your golfing group. Yes I remember you sending me some emails before about how much your chipping has improved. Congratulations to you, well done! I do keep things simple it’s the best way to learn. Thank you for the positive feedback. Looking forward to coming up to the Sunshine Coast, will start looking for a location to run some clinics. Is there anywhere that you recommend? Looking forward to meeting you all soon πŸ™‚

      • Ari April 26, 2013 at 9:07 pm #

Hi Tiffany… are you ready for this?? Our (lovely) group is called: ‘Tarts in Carts’… !! Actually , some of us walk,,.. as its only 9 holes and we can manage to walk for nine – could probably even manage 13 .. but, for most of us walking and pulling our buggies for 18 holes is too hard on our backs.. limbs etc … We even have shirts with our own logo.. which we all of course wear on our play days.
Peregian Springs would be a terrific location from which to run some clinics… we are close (about 15 mins drive) from Noosa, and about 10 mins from Coolum.. (Palmer resort, formerly Hyatt Regency Coolum).. I believe what makes us special is that the emphasis is on having a relaxing and enjoyable game.. we are not competitive but provide a friendly environment for beginner ladies…who can then decide how they wish to progress their own game.. whether it be for social play (and knowing how to get thru) or if any of the ladies wish to progress thru to say pennants for their club.. then they have had a ‘nurturing’ environment for their introduction to the game… It would indeed be a pleasure to meet you… and many thanks again for providing tips and encouragement for ‘late starters’ !!! Ari

          Hi Ari,
Tarts in Carts… I Love it! So that is so awesome you ladies are all organised with shirts and the works. It’s great that you are providing such a supportive environment for each other. Women need that, they need support and they need to belong. It is in their DNA! Or should I say our DNA! Hopefully I can work out something and come up North and run some sessions. Thanks for the great feedback and keep on rocking those ladies out on the golf course. Kind regards Tiff πŸ™‚

  8. Kevin Hudson April 25, 2013 at 9:37 pm #

    hi Tiff
I have really enjoyed your tips especially the tips on chipping, this now given me a lot of confidence around the greens. As I am a high handicapper and having trouble with my driver I have been able to keep my scores reasonable with the new chipping techniques,I have taken a couple of strokes off my handicap, thanks Tiff, looking forward to more tips from you.
    Regards
    Kev Hudson

    • Tiffany Mika April 26, 2013 at 2:33 pm #

Hi Kevin, how fantastic is that, confidence around the greens. I think that is everyone’s wish to have more confidence around that greens. If you are having trouble with your driver then it would be something to do with your swing. Usually the swing faults will come out more in the driver because it is the longest club in the bag. Kevin this is wonderful to hear that you are taking shots off your handicap, congratulations. I am receiving so many emails that people are taking shots off their handicaps through my tips. Well done Kevin. Keep up the great work. Tiff πŸ™‚

  9. Robyn Burns April 29, 2013 at 6:45 pm #

Since joining you at Bayview and viewing your website I have both improved in my golf and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I certainly liked your pitching hints and the last section on bunkers – I no longer find them daunting and can even get out with liitle fuss and stress, so many thanks for your help and hints. Robyn

    • Tiffany Mika April 29, 2013 at 8:03 pm #

Hi Robyn, Fantastic! You are improving so much and so quickly it is exciting to see. It’s great you are enjoying the golf experience. Keep on improving and keep on enjoying! Tiff πŸ™‚

Hi Tiff, Your weekly tips are very encouraging and have certainly helped improve my games and given me the confidence needed with each game and adds more fun to each game. Great putting them on video as we all can track back to remind us on how to improve our game and not revert to old habits. Thanks heaps for your enthusiasm. Theresa

    • Tiffany Mika August 6, 2013 at 1:29 pm #

      Hi Theresa
Thanks for the great feedback on my videos. It’s great fun sharing some information with you and just keep at it. It is so much more fun when things go right.
